Trump mocks opponents, talks tough on national security at National Prayer Breakfast

WASHINGTON — President Trump used his speech at the normally solemn and bipartisan National Prayer Breakfast to mock his domestic opponents and "be tough" with foreign leaders — including allies like Australia.

"The world is in trouble and we're going to straighten it out, OK? That's what I do," Trump said to the thousands gathered in Washington, D.C. for the National Prayer Breakfast, including foreign leaders like Jordan's King Abdullah II. "When you hear about the tough phone calls I'm having don't worry about it, just don't worry about it. They're tough. We have to be tough, it's time we're going to be a little tough, folks. We're taken advantage of by every nation in the world virtually. It's not going to happen anymore. It's not going to happen anymore."
